What counts as support
A rule and its evidence travel together
We keep calculation, source strength and editorial explanation separate. A weakly sourced rule does not become stronger because software can calculate it precisely.
How rules are labelled
Classical means a rule is tied to a named traditional text or verse. Modern authority means a named modern author, panchanga or documented methodology states the rule. Popular means the rule circulates in practice but lacks the same level of textual support. Popular rules may be shown for comparison; they are not silently promoted into the strict set.
How measured figures are produced
Rates such as the distribution of Guna Milan scores are derived from the same tables and functions the tools use. When the complete population can be enumerated, we call it a population rather than a sample. Simulated charts are labelled simulated; they are never described as customer or real-world case data.
How articles are reviewed
Doosri Rai is the accountable publisher. Article pages display their author, reviewer and last reviewed date, and the same identities and dates appear in structured data. Review checks whether the prose matches the implemented calculation, distinguishes rule sets, and avoids predictions or remedy claims that the product does not support.
How citations are used
A citation should identify the work or institution closely enough for a reader to locate it. Links are provided when a stable public copy exists. A source is evidence for the rule attributed to it, not proof that every tradition accepts that rule.
This is compiled research, not a complete independent audit of every Sanskrit primary source. Where direct primary-text verification is unavailable, we name the edition, translation or modern authority actually consulted and do not imply that a repository or secondary quotation is the original source.
Editorial citations are ordinary links: we do not add nofollow merely because a source is outside this domain. A link is qualified only when there is a real relationship to disclose, such as sponsored or user-submitted material. The current article corpus contains neither. URL-derived DR-… source IDs remain stable when a bibliography is reordered, while direct links beside numerical and source-dependent claims show what each citation supports.
How automated search and AI crawlers are treated
Discovery and model training are separate permissions. Production robots policy explicitly permits Google and other general search crawlers, plus OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User, PerplexityBot and Perplexity-User for search or user-requested retrieval. It declines GPTBot and CCBot for model-training or large-scale corpus collection.
Robots rules are not a licence and cannot guarantee quotation or ranking. They state which automated access the publisher currently permits. Preview deployments remain blocked from every crawler unless they explicitly opt into indexing, so a staging copy cannot compete with the canonical site.
Where computed research is published
The open score-distribution dataset provides CSV and JSON files with version, columns, method, licence and limitations. It reuses the versioned engine directly and preserves exact half-points and rare tails that the whole-number reference pages deliberately group or omit.
How to challenge a claim
Send the page URL, the exact sentence or result, and the source or reproduction steps to the contact page. Confirmed issues are corrected where they appear and recorded on the corrections page.
